We are pleased to inform you that the latest issue of ICID News 2020 (Third & Fourth Quarter)' is released. This issue includes – 2. Exploring the Many Perspectives on Irrigation Efficiency: The article provides an overview of the newly published paper on irrigation efficiency in one of the worlds leading sustainability journals; Global Environmental Change. The paper invites a broad discussion on irrigation efficiency by allowing its many different perspectives to be placed within a framework, called the Irrigation Efficiency Matrix (IEM). 3. Adaptation to Climate Change: Impact of Capacity Building, India: The article presents the summary of the Best Paper Award - Irrigation and Drainage Journal 2020. The paper examines the importance of capacity building on water-saving interventions such as alternate wetting and drying (AWD), a modified system of rice intensification (MSRI), and direct-seeded rice (DSR) in Andhra Pradesh and the Telangana States of India. 4. Rethinking Water Policy Reforms: This article presents an opinion piece on adaptive policy-making strategies and how they are vital to the future of water sector reforms.
