All National Committees/ Committee of ICID All Workbody Chairs Dear Sir/Madam, Greetings from the ICID Central Office at New Delhi, India! We
wish to inform you that the President Hon. Dr. Saeed Nairizi, Chair of
Task Force to Guide ICID Inputs to World Water Forum 9 (TF-WWF9) along
with its potential partners is responsible to run three session groups
under Action Group 2.D of the 9 th World Water Forum under
the title "Ensure Sustainable Agricultural Practices, including Water
Productivity and Efficiency, Reduction of Diffuse Pollution and
Increased Food Losses". The 9th World Water Forum will be held in Dakar,
Senegal from 21-26 March 2022. A brief note on ICID’s role in the 9 th World Water Forum is available at brief_note_on_9th_World_Water__Forum.docx for your ready reference. In
order to contribute more effectively to the Forum, Chair of TF-WWF9
requested a joint online meetings with National Committees, during which
NCs would be invited to contribute to WWF9 Sessions. Similarly,
Chairs of the work bodies also invited to contribute and submit
presentations in the Sessions where ICID would be responsible during 9th
World Water Forum. Chair President Hon. Dr. Saeed Nairizi in coordination with ICID Central Office is organizing Online Microsoft Team meeting with the representatives of National Committees/ Committee and Chairs of Workbody on 10 February 2021 at 17:30 hour (Indian Standard Time). During
the online meeting, Chair will explain the framework, structure and
WWF9 priorities, action groups and sessions to the NCs representatives
to receive their attention and interest to further collaborate and take
effective roles. We shall be grateful if you kindly spare your valuable time and participate in the above online Microsoft meeting on 10 February 2021 at 17:30 hours (IST).
